Had a wonderful evening at one of my favorite restaurants. El Gaucho currently operates several locations across Washington and Oregon. No prices for this since it was a hosted event by a vendor in the industry I work in. Prices can be found on their website. A dinner for 2 can easily be $200+. Join their Fire & Vine Rewards program and they will give you $75 off a $150 dinner for your birthday and anniversary (not combinable). We were celebrating my mother’s 69th birthday and had no idea what was in store for her. The restaurant printed out customs menus which said happy birthday and her name on each one. That was an amazing touch. Everyone stopped by to wish her a happy birthday, the restaurant provided free dessert, cheese fruit trays. Our family dines at Ascend often but I think we just found our new favorite restaurant. The food was great, service was in better. You can’t go wrong with this place!
I really wish I could give this restaurant 5 stars because the food was truly superb, but the service was quite slow. We were waiting for our waiter to come take our order for a while and then because of that, our food also took a long time to come out. Other than that, the lighting was dark and I couldn’t see what I was eating sometimes (the pictures had to be brightened to see the food). The restaurant is beautiful inside, but could be a little brighter in some areas. Now to the good part. The food. It was delicious! I ordered a grilled octopus starter, which I’ve always wanted to try. It did not disappoint. The taste had some hints of smokiness and the texture was perfect. The bean sauce and chimichurri added nice flavoring to the octopus. For the entree, I had the seafood saffron risotto. This was the one! The risotto was creamy and cooked to perfection. The shrimps were juicy, the lobster was just right, and the scallops were my favorite part. So if you are seafood person, this is a must try. My husband ordered the bone-in ribeye. It came out wonderfully. Not much to say, I only had a bite, but it was tender and delicious. Then dessert, I had the key lime pie. Also a first for me, but if all key lime pie tastes this good, I would like to have it at least once a week! The cream on top was smooth and light, while the lime part grounded it and gave the balanced lime flavor. Parking note: There is validated parking in the garage. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend it.
We hosted an 80th surprise birthday party at El Gaucho in Bellevue, and the experience was absolutely exceptional. From start to finish, the staff was wonderful to work with—extremely organized, professional, and accommodating. Planning for a group of 80 people can be challenging, but they executed everything flawlessly. The food was fabulous, the venue was perfect for the occasion, and every detail was handled with care. Our guests were impressed, and the guest of honor felt truly celebrated. I couldn’t recommend El Gaucho Bellevue more highly for a special event.
We came here for dinner on Christmas Eve, and at first, our experience wasn’t the best. However, after that, Max came over to help us, and everything completely changed. He made the most amazing dessert, and honestly, he turned our whole evening around. Thanks to him, we felt truly happy and taken care of. Max fixed the situation so professionally and kindly, and he made our night so much better. We’re leaving with a great impression, and we will definitely come back — just for this experience.
A Truly Unforgettable Dining Experience at the EL Gaucho! We celebrated our anniversary at EL Gaucho, and it was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly host and immediately immersed in the warm atmosphere, complete with live pianist playing beautiful classical and contemporary music that set the tone for a wonderful evening. Ambiance & Service: The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and they even covered our table with rose petals, wrote a personalized card, and created a customized menu with our names to make our anniversary celebration memorable! Food: Everything we ordered was exquisite: - *Bone Marrow and Scallops*: The sauce from the scallops perfectly complemented the bone marrow. Our server kindly served it as an appetizer, even though it was listed as a side dish. - *Salad with Pistachios*: A delightful mix of flavors and textures. - *King Crab Legs*: Succulent and flavorful, with a delicious butter sauce. - *Flaming Steak*: Tender, juicy filet mignon with a fun presentation. - *Crème Brûlée*: Creamy, crunchy sugar coating, and perfectly balanced with fresh coffee and espresso. - *Sea Bass in Shoyu Sauce*: Melted in your mouth, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. *Cocktails:* The mixologist truly outdid themselves! The *Filthy Martini* with a Grey Goose and *Old Fashioned with Woodenville Bourbon* were among the best I've ever had. We also enjoyed the *Sparkling Rosé Cremant Brute*, which paired perfectly with rich foods like bone marrow and oysters. Overall: El Gaucho exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff is amazing, and becoming a member is a must! If you're looking for a special occasion spot or just want to treat yourself, look no further. We'll definitely be back!
We had the most amazing dinner at El Gaucho! We recently sold two of our commercial properties, represented by the best broker in the world, Brandon Lawler with Berkadia. Brandon hosted a post-closing dinner at El Gaucho to celebrate the sale. The service at El Gaucho was friendly but unobtrusive, allowing us to linger over cocktails, appetizers, main courses, sides and the grand finale, Bananas Foster, complete with showstopping flames! We were elated with the service Brandon provided throughout the sometimes arduous course of our property showings, negotiations, and closing. To the very end, he provided superior service. That being said, it stands to reason that he would also select a first-class location to celebrate the completed sale. Thank you Brandon, Berkadia and El Gaucho for your standard of excellence! With heartfelt sincerity, we are grateful!
The service was amazing which made the whole celebration so pleasant. We went there for Valentine’s Taylor Dixon was our server. He was so nice, had a pleasant smile and made great recommendations on wine and food.
